Within the district council there are number of historical, cultural and natural attractions that are potential for both domestic and international tourist. Iditima natural forest- The forest is located in Itambo Village Mfriga ward the distance of 115 km from Njombe town to the forest. Historically the forest was Natural potential due to presence of butterflies of different color, animal species like bush pigs, elephants and baboon. The forest remains as the hub for historical information about the origin of local people in Itambo village. Moreover the forest also depicts the background in the construction of Old Lutheran church in Lupembe there by German used to collect timber from that forest.
Madeke organic farming–located in a distance of 110KM from Njombe town in madeke village where the common activities of local people is agriculture.
